On a ground of textured cotton slub in pale celadon, the embroidery unfolds like a botanical study done from memory rather than reference. Protea-like blooms with tufted centres sit beside scattered clover, feathery fern fronds, trailing star-flowers, and climbing stems in warm tobacco brown. The palette moves between dusty rose, deep plum, sage, forest green, and soft lavender — never coordinated, always harmonious, the way a real garden is.

The edge is finished with a blanket stitch border in deep red — hand-stitched, slightly uneven, unmistakably made.
